Assessment insight
Teacher-facing analysis of what an assessment actually shows, with completeness and freshness stated. Secure digital exams are roadmap.
Assessment insight is teacher-facing analysis: what a check actually showed, for which objective, with how much of the class covered and how recently. It informs a plan; it does not grade, rank or decide.
What a teacher sees
Concepts in this build. Every figure carries its source, coverage and date.
- In this buildWhat the check actually showed
An exit ticket, rubric or lab check contributes evidence with its source, date, scope and provenance attached — never a bare number.
- In this buildBy objective, not just by average
A class average can hide the one skill nobody secured. Findings are explorable by objective, assessment, participation, missing work and intervention status.
- In this buildCompleteness and freshness, stated
A partial figure says how much of the class it covers; a stale one says when it was last measured. A teacher confirms or corrects a reading before it drives a plan.
- In this buildCorrelation is not cause
Attendance moving alongside a result is shown as a correlation with a caveat. IvyDesk never says attendance caused a gap.
Roadmap, labelled as roadmap
Assessment authoring and secure digital delivery are later phases.
- PlannedAssessment authoring (Phase 3)
Curriculum maps, versioned item banks, rubrics and one reviewable handoff of results to the gradebook and to mastery evidence.

Managed-device and secure-client delivery, offline proctor nodes and integrity review — without automatic accusations or grade penalties.
